Standardized Bridging Program Qualifications
|
Successful completion of one or more of the following:
- Health Care Aide
- Home Support Worker Level II
- Home Support Worker Level III
Pre-requisites:
- Ontario Secondary School Graduate or Mature Student
(19 years age or older - must have equivalent standing at the general
level in English)
- Completion of a pre-entry exam
- Proof of completion of Standard First Aid and CPR level "C"
- Police background check
PSW Bridging Exemptions (Must be approved by the Director)
- Students who have completed Health Care Aid, Home Support Worker
Level II and Home Support Worker Level III are exempt from Practicum hours
upon a completion of Clinical Skills Performance Passbook.
